Last year, I posted the family pictures we've taken at the Gaylord Texan. Here is the updated version.

*Tear* My baby is growing up...

ICE! Merry Madagascar

Last week, the Cheatwood's continued our *new* tradition of going to the Gaylord Texan to see the ICE! In attendance were me, Clinton, Emma, Sherri, Cody, Lynann, Libby, & Cawyer! Here is the post from last year!

Side note- I love seeing the Gaylord Texan decorated for Christmas! It is gorgeous!

All bundled up and ready to go!

Merry MadaDasDAR! That's what Em says, anyway!

Snow ICE! Bunnies?

Emma and her Daddy going down the ice slide!

Libby went all by herself!

My two cold loves!
My favorite is always the beautiful ice nativity!

After we warmed up, we went to Gingy's to decorate gingerbread men!

I tried to get a good picture of the girls...

they did NOT cooperate!

But they loved decorating with Mamou!

Emma was having SO much fun...

UNTIL we told her she was about to see Gingy...

Cawyer wasn't scared!

But Emma... pure terror. Sigh.
We walked around the hotel to get some photo ops...

Another "best I could get"... those girls, SMH.

Told you the decorations were breathtaking!

Santa's HUGE boots!

It really is a fun thing to do during the Christmas Season! We spent the rest of the day Christmas shopping... I'm not going to tell the story about me leaving my phone at a store in the mall. SMH. Besides that, it was a great day!

Fred's Adventures 2012- Week 2

Fred, our Elf on the Shelf, has been up to mischievousness, as usual.

Sunday, Fred brought a letter with surprises in it!

I forgot to take a picture of the contents! But it contained a bag of sprinkles and a bag of snow (powdered sugar!). Here is the letter...

dear emma,

i know you have been really trying to be a good girl, so i brought you something really special from the north pole! these are magic elf seeds! they may look like sprinkles, but they have been blessed with santa’s magic. follow the instructions for a special surprise!

 plant the seeds in sugar
then, sprinkle with snow
wait for the magic
and see what will grow!

keep being a good girl, and santa will bring you special presents on christmas eve!

love,
fred

Sprinkling with snow (powdered sugar)!

After waiting all night, Emma woke up Monday morning to see what had grown!

Cookies!

Tuesday, Fred and Ariel got a little friendlier...

Built themselves a castle to play house in... eek!
Fred played with one of Emma's puzzles on Wednesday!

That night, Fred took a little rest. He must have known that we had had a long day. (ICE! post coming soon!)

Friday morning, we must have woke up early. Caught him shaving with Daddy's razor!

This morning, we woke up to Technicolor Fred! He got into Em's behavior chart stickers! AND used a whole sheet! That Fred...SMH.

Christmas with Santa- Central Day School Party

Emma's school has a fundraising event every year called Christmas with Santa! This was our first year to attend!

I signed up to do the early shift, helping set up before the party. But we went a little too early, so Emma and I had a little photo session at the fountain. Obviously, this is our "go to activity" for killing time!

Emma was "so excited" for her party. I say quote so excited, because she kept saying "I'm so excited!" Ha!

There were so many activities for the kids to do!

First thing, we wrote a letter to Santa!

She, also, made snow!

Mixed up some reindeer food with Alex!

Then, she made MORE snow with Libby!

Then we all rode a horse drawn carriage!

There were a lot more activities, but I was too busy chasing Miss Priss to get any pictures! Notice there is no pictures with Santa... because Emma screamed and cried when she saw Santa. Sigh.

Besides that little episode, the party was really fun! I hope the school raised a lot of money!
