Family Vacay- Day 1

We spent last week in San Antonio for a quick family vacation. On the way, we stopped for lunch at Smitty's Market in Lockhart. This was our second trip to Smitty's, but it was so good, we had to try it again!

Of course, Em had to have dessert!

After we got into San Antonio and checked into our hotel, we went down to the Riverwalk. We took Em on the tour boat ride. She had fun, but she was way more interested in the ducks. And the duck babies.

We went to Mi Tierra for supper, and Em went crazy for all the decorations. She asked to have the Mariachi band sing her a song, but once they were there... check out her face. 

Once back at the hotel, we spent some time at the pool. Our hotel had 3 pools, but we spent most of our time in the kiddie pool (and the hot pool! Em loved the hot tub!)

Clinton turned a pool noodle and the fountain into a water hose. He and Em had a blast playing. Sorry the sound is so weird!

As if the day wasn't full enough, we ended the day watching Shrek outside at the hotel.

Then it was time for bed. Had to rest up for Sea World the next day!
